Officials of the Azerbaijan Footnet Federation visited the world champion Bebeto in the Brazilian national football team.

AFNF President Vusal Khalilov presented gifts to the former Brazilian striker at a meeting held at the veteran footballer's house in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to conveying Bebeto's gifts reflecting the symbols, historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, V. Khalilov and the Secretary General of the federation Afgan Hamzayev said that football fans in our country have not forgotten the wonderful game of the Brazilian.

Speaking about the development of foottennis and footvolley in Azerbaijan, the president of the organization said that important steps would be taken to further popularize these sports in the future and that he had important plans.

Secretary General Afgan Hamzayev said they would be pleased to see such an influential guest as Bebeto at international competitions in Baku, and that the Brazilian would contribute to this work.

During the match, Bebeto, one of the main heroes of the 1994 World Cup, presented the head of the International Footvolley Federation Vusal Khalilov with a number 7 shirt.

Stressing that he was very proud to receive Azerbaijani federation officials at his home, the former forward, nicknamed "White Gold", said he had heard about Azerbaijan and definitely wanted to see our country.

It should be noted that the qualifying round of the World Futvolley Championship started on April 29 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The winners of the tournament will compete in the finals in Baku.
