The tournament, in which amateur men, amateur women and professional men's and women's teams competed on the world-famous Copabacana beach in Rio de Janeiro, was the scene of an interesting sporting event.

In the final match of professional men's futsal masters, the pair Franklin / Hiltinho, currently number one in Brazil, won. The mentioned athletes won the right to represent Brazil in the final of the world championship to be held in Baku.
