Another prestigious footvolley  competition has been concluded.

The  pearl of the Mediterranean Sea of ​​Turkey, the qualifying stage tournament of the World Championship in this sport ended with the victory of Brazilian athletes.

Celebrating the victory in two categories - male pairs and mixed (female/male), "samba players" proved that they are the "master" wherever the ball is.

Our team, which faced the Latin Americans in the semi-finals, started the game well, and although it did not have a bad effect in the following minutes, it was not enough to reach the final. In the other match, Turkey, which won the favor of its home fans with its beautiful game, was able to defeat Iran and write its name in the last match. In the match for the third place, the psychologically collapsed Azerbaijani national team failed to regroup and lost to our southern neighbors. Thus, our national team was 4th in the tournament where the pair of Marselius/Mauritsio, who defeated Turkey in two sets with smart and thought-out tactics consisting of Kor and Yazdani, won gold medals.

Repeating the same result in the mix, the Azerbaijani football players won the only victory in the group over the UAE. Spectators who watched the Brazil-Turkey final in the finals of men's and women's athletes were saddened by the defeat of the "moon-stars" this time. The 3rd place in this category went to Argentina.

The president of the organization Vusal Khalilov, the chairman of Arsuz Municipality Asef Guvan and other officials participated in the awarding ceremony of the competition organized under the motto "Road to Baku" of the International Footvolley Federation. Presenting cups, medals and prizes to the winning teams, BFF President Vusal Khalilov thanked everyone who contributed to the tournament and expressed his sincere belief that Hatay will host more prestigious competitions in the future.

Speaking at the event, Asaf Guvan talked about the work done by the international federation in the direction of spreading this sport to the world, and said that they are ready to support the organization in all possible ways.

In addition to distinguished teams, special souvenirs were presented to all participants, judges, BFF officials at the awarding ceremony.
